Panel IIA: Governance
Lack of effective governance is a fundamental challenge facing India and this manifests itself in three key issues that this panel will seek to address: (a) How does a maturing democracy ensure that the elected representatives work in a manner that truly represents the will of the people; (b) How can the delivery of public services be massively improved, and (c) How can we tackle the challenge of corruption, not just at the top levels or in government alone, but also the growing culture of corruption that permeates the private sector and many parts of the civil society too.
