La Campanella - Too Many Notes?

Piano arrangement on hand-punched paper. A dynamic rendition of La Campanella by Paganini and Liszt, AS PLAYED BY Gottfried Galston. Note: Music rolls or piano rolls were almost never played or recorded by a pianist. Even when the artist was part of the process, arrangers, some skilled, some not, edited the rolls heavily and limited by factory rules and equipment. Performed and interpreted on a player piano from the 1920s.
