Back to the Forest
In this video Laura Meredith, a graduate student in MIT's Program in Atmospheres, Oceans and Climate, shares her thesis work which has involved building and deploying an instrument to the Harvard Forest Long Term Ecological Research site in central Massachusetts. The instrument measures hydrogen gradients that can, along with a suite of other measurements, be used to calculate hydrogen fluxes. These will be used to determine the strength and seasonality of the soil sink at Harvard Forest. Laura'a advisor is Ron Prinn.
