The Center for Integrated Photonic Systems (CIPS) is a major MIT initiative to engage industry. CIPS was created to meet 3 goals: to provide leadership and direction for research and development in photonics; to foster an Institute wide community of researchers in the field of integrated photonics & systems; to integrate member companies into the MIT photonics community.
