Semi-Autonomous Threat Assessment & Operator Assistance
This video illustrates the basic operation of a Model Predictive Control (MPC)-based semi-autonomous control framework. In the upper plot, the vehicle's trail is shown in blue while the MPC-predicted hazard avoidance maneuver is shown in red. The lower plot illustrates the level of control authority given to the avoidance controller (0=full human control, 1=autonomous control).
