The MIT Visual Arts Program hosts Monday Nights @ VAP, a cross-disciplinary lecture series, every Fall and Spring term. Spring 2009: "Collision" examines the intersection of research in science, technology and contemporary art. Fall 2008 series: "This is Tomorrow? Urban Utopia, Dystopia, Heterotopia" includes speakers from art, architecture, urbanism and technology from around the world. Spring 2008 lecture series entitled "Zones of Emergency" is a collaboration between MIT VAP and artists, technologists, theorists and practitioners. Fall 2007 series: "Give Me Shelter"
