2011 Spring Lecture Series – Collision 2: When Artistic and Scientific Research Meet
The ACT Monday night lecture series Collision 2: When Artistic and Scientific Research Meet draws together artists and scientists from different disciplines to discuss artistic methodologies and forms of inquiry at the intersection of art, architecture, science and technology. This series is part of AR – Artistic Research, a yearlong collaboration between the MIT Program in Art, Culture and Technology and Siemens Stiftung, Munich, co‑curated by ACT Director Ute Meta Bauer and Siemens Stiftung Curator of Visual Arts Thomas D. Trummer. The lecture series is also part of the related ACT course 4.365/4.366 From Bauhaus to Our House. The lecture series is free and open to the public.
