Breaking Glass with Sound

OSCILLATIONS - RESONANCE - Audio Resonance Function generator drives a powerful speaker next to a wine glass. The vibrations in the air (the sound) vibrates the glass. By tuning the function generator to the resonance frequency of the glass and driving the speaker to a high enough amplitude the glass will shatter. http://web.mit.edu/~tsg/DemoPage/C/C66/C66.htm
