Prof. Alex Slocum,
I met your wife breifly at the Robotix show on Sunday. I am a designer / manufacturer in Brooklyn NY with my own company called RAYDOOR, Inc. (www.raydoor.com) I went by the show to find young people who might want to partake in a design development exercise in our Brooklyn studio. We are trying to motorize a stacking door system for the May 17th International Furniture Fair in NYC JJC by May 17th. It has only to be a working prototype. Even if you only has a few moments to speak with me about it, I would certainly appreciate your advice as to how I might pull this off. I figure the kids would be exposed to a real design manufacturing company that will take the prototype to production phase working with our various suppliers and vendors etc... My name is Luke Siegel, my email is luke@raydoor.com thanks for your time. Best Regards, -Luke
