MIT's 1995 Technology Day takes place on June 16, 1995 on the theme "War, Technology, Peace and Change." A fly-by of six vintage World War II airplanes led by a B-25, intended as a tribute to the sacrifices of MIT community members in wartime service, concludes the event. Featured speakers include Doris Kearns Goodwin, “The WWII Imperative for Democracy;” Robert Seamans, “WWII Comes to MIT;” Paul Gray “MIT’s Response to the WWII Experience;” Lester Thurow, “The Economic Impact of the War on Society;” Charles M. Vest, “MIT and the Future.” [T3069, T3070]
