Banjo Band - Blaze Away by Holzman
This is a demo of the march, Blaze Away by Abraham Holzman, played by Raymond and His Banjo Band. We hope this inspires the MIT Band to perform it. It was often played as a tribute to President Theodore Roosevelt. AND lest we forget, decades ago, MIT had a number of Banjo Clubs and Banjo Bands. So this is a tribute to them as well.

Reminiscent of the Mummers bands, marching along with banjos and resplendent feathers at the Macy’s Day Parade in the 1950s.
