Decoding A Gene

This video demonstrates the decoding activity for the channel protein genes. The activity helps to clarify the triplet code prior to teaching transcription and translation. If transcription and translation are not appropriate for your group of students, this decoding of a gene can be the culminating activity. This video corresponds to DNA/RNA Booklet 1, pages 13-17. NOTE: This video has no sound.
