St. Paul's School from Concord, N.H., received a 2006 InvenTeam grant from the Lemelson-MIT Program to create a fall sensor for the elderly -- a wearable device that transmits a nursing home patient's motion to a nurse's station that monitors the data. The InvenTeam presented its project at MIT in June 2006.
