MIT Chamber Music - Beethoven Quintet
For many years, the MIT Chamber Music Society has brought together very gifted and talented MIT students to perform the purest essence of music, chamber music. The full range of life's emotions can be expressed and experienced through trios, quartets, quintets and other small ensembles of strings, winds, and/or pianos. This year they have focused on Mendelssohn interspersed with Beethoven, Dvorak, Dohnanyi, Schubert, Rachmaninof, and Brahms. Bravo to the musicians and to the coaches David Deveau, John Harbison, Jean Rife, and Marcus Thompson. Killian Hall, December, 2009.
