Fluid Flow II

The green 'wall' in this 3D movie shows where a fluid is separating from the surface it is flowing past as predicted by a new MIT theory. The red lines represent this separation as predicted by conventional theory. A numerical simulation of the fluid motion (white) confirms the prediction by the new MIT theory.
